動物たちの楽園。憧れの幌尻岳七ツ沼カール

標高1900m付近の氷河地形で雪解け水によって沼となった動物たちの楽園。

稜線からカールまで下りてみたいと思ったが、戸蔦別岳（トッタベツ岳）から幌尻岳までのアップダウンがあまりにもすごく、わざわざ稜線から更に下まで下りる気にはなれなかった。

日本百名山でも最難関と言われる幌尻岳。岳人憧れの地、七ツ沼カール。

ヒグマの生息地でテント泊をする勇気があれば、いつかもう一度訪れる時がくるかもしれない。

An animal paradise. The coveted Nanatsunuma cirque of Mt. Poroshiri-dake.

An animal paradise formed by snowmelt water in a glacial terrain at an altitude of around 1,900 meters. I wanted to descend from the ridgeline to the cirque, but the ups and downs from Mt. Tottabetsu-dake to Mt. Poroshiri-dake were so extreme that I couldn’t bring myself to descend further from the ridgeline. Poroshiri-dake, said to be one of the most challenging peaks among Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains. Nanatsunuma cirque, a place of longing for mountaineers. If I ever muster the courage to camp in a tent in a brown bear habitat, perhaps I will return one day.
